I know it's good for you, but it also adds vibrant colour, a delicate sweet kind of flavour and it goes with so many other ingredients. Like lemon, or mango. Lime, coconut. So many things. And although it's not AIP compliant, if you tolerate black pepper, add a little before blending, to help you get the most out of the turmeric.
Three ingredients. And so refreshing. Go make it.
Ginger Turmeric Ice Cream
Serves 1
Ingredients
1 large frozen banana (peeled)
half teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
2 tablespoons coconut milk
Method
Blitz all the ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth. Have a taste and feel free to add a little more ginger if you like. Serve straight away.
