Ideas for a Diamond Jubilee Street Party Feast!

Just to let you know, this post was written before I started the paleo diet to help ease my psoriasis. Nowadays I eat a more allergy-friendly diet, but leave these older, non-paleo posts up in case they are useful to readers, as I know not everyone eats the same as I do. Thanks for your understanding.

This weekend, the Queen celebrates being on the throne for 60 years and we're all digging out our bunting, Union-Jack-striped tablecloths and mismatched china for street parties around the country. If you're struggling to come up with ideas for the big occasion, I've put together a selection of recipes from the blog that might come in handy. Hope this helps and I wish everyone a safe and happy Jubilee weekend.

"As this day draws to its close, I know that my abiding memory of it will be, not only the solemnity and beauty of the ceremony, but the inspiration of your loyalty and affection. I thank you all from a full heart. God bless you all."

Spoken by Queen Elizabeth II at the end of her Coronation day in 1953,  and addressed to the nation.

Cinnamon and Apple Rolls
