Review of Take a Bite Snack Bars (Video)

The market for paleo snack bars is definitely growing.

You've got Primal Pantry, Fori and now Aldi do those tasty little bars made from brazil nuts and cherries. And now there's a new bar out, called Take a Bite

I was sent a couple of the bars to review. They come from Russia, and the team behind them say that they just don't tolerate putting sugar, soy, dairy, gluten or any artificial sweeteners or flavourings in them. All good.

They're also vegan and vegetarian, and just the right size for a snack - as I'm a little sensitive to sugars I managed to make one of the bars last a couple of days, so that was good. The flavours were lovely - you can tell that a lot of thought has gone in to flavour combinations rather than just chucking in a load of dates, nuts and seeds and a random sprinkling of spice. I was just really impressed by the different levels of flavours in the bars, as well as the fact that it's all natural.

I'm told that you can get the bars in Selfridges, but I don't think they've made it to supermarkets yet. Maybe have a word and tell them you want them stocked near you! They'll also be available in Ocado in late spring 2017.

You can see me trying them out in the 3-minute video below.

Have a look at the Take a Bite website for more details.
