I know what you're thinking. There are so many AIP books out now that it can be difficult to narrow down the one you want. And why should you buy another one?
If you're wondering this (I often do), then I need to let you know that this book is very different from all of them.
I was sent an ebook copy to have a look, although the book is also available in hard copy. The Autoimmune Wellness Handbook is written by Mickey Trescott and Angie Alt from the website Autoimmune Paleo. It's (very beautifully) photographed by Charlotte Dupont.
What I love about this book is that it's not just another recipe book. It does have recipes (there's a gorgeous cheesecake that I have my eye on, as well as a butternut breakfast hash) but the main bulk of the book is about all the other things you can do to help yourself heal - sleep, exercise, mindfulness - all that stuff we have to do on top of the food. The book is kind of like a toolkit you can bring out and check on to make sure you're on track, as well as having the reassurance of personal stories from Mickey and Angie.
